Thomas Jeffries Harlan, III, affectionately known as “Tom” or “T.J.” to those closest to him, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Tom was born in Paris, Kentucky on September 13, 1947, the oldest of two sons, to the late Sara Wills Harlan and Thomas J. “Jeff” Harlan, Jr. He was a proud graduate of Transylvania University and retired from Delta Airlines as Customer Service Manager after many years of service. With his Delta connection, Tom enjoyed many travels throughout the world with his family and friends. He was always up for a social or family gathering, telling stories and reminiscing, always finding a connection with people. Tom also had deep love for his hometown of Paris, Kentucky and was a prideful Kentuckian.
